THE HOME LOAN MODIFICATION MARKET?

According to the National Association of Realtors, there is over $1 Trillion worth of Alt-A and Option ARM loans that will adjust over the next three years.  A recent report by 60 Minutes stated that 50%–70% of consumers in these loans would default on them.  One out of every ten consumers is currently behind on their mortgage payment today and over 8 million consumers are expected to face foreclosure over the next 36 months.  This mortgage crisis is expected to last 3-5 years and the businesses involved in helping these 8 million consumers modify their home loans stand to do a great service to the country and significantly profit from doing so.

BUSINESS TYPE 2 – LOAN MODIFICATION PREPARATION AGENTS: Modification Preparation Agents are hired by the attorneys to put together loan modification proposals on behalf of the consumer that is facing the legitimate hardship.  These agents are responsible for collecting all of the financial information and hardship circumstances of the loan modification candidate so that they may create and present a loan modification proposal to the Attorneys.
